Cleaning and care

Proper care helps maintain the condition and appearance of your shoes and extends their lifespan.

General cleaning recommendations:

  • Natural leather – clean with a soft cloth or brush and apply shoe cream if needed

  • Synthetic / coated leather – wipe with a slightly damp cloth and allow to dry naturally

  • Suede or nubuck leather – clean with a soft brush and use special cleaning products if necessary

  • Textile materials – remove dust with a soft brush; for heavier dirt use textile cleaning products

  • Outsoles – clean with a dry brush or damp cloth

Do not clean shoes when soaked with water and never dry them near direct heat sources.

Important advice and warnings

  • Most PUMA shoes are not waterproof, especially suede, nubuck, and textile models

  • Closed footwear should always be worn with socks

  • Always loosen laces or fastenings when putting on or removing the shoes

  • Use a shoehorn to avoid damaging the heel area

  • Let damp footwear dry in a well-ventilated place

  • If possible, alternate your shoes daily to allow proper ventilation

  • Decorative or embroidered parts require extra care

  • Always wear footwear appropriate for the weather conditions

If you notice a minor defect in the footwear, it is recommended to repair it as soon as possible to prevent further damage.
